P.F. Sloan, the legendary singer/songwriter and producer of so many iconic hit songs-a powerful force in the pop and folk rock sound, will be presented in the South Pasadena Library Community tonight for an ‘Author and Music Night’ event.
P.F. Soan will be discussing his riveting new autobiography, What’s Exactly the Matter With Me?: Memoirs of a Life in Music. P.F. Sloan will also be performing some of his great hit songs, along with Creed Bratton, a fellow original member of The Grass Roots.
For the first segment of the program, Sloan will be joined by his co-author, S. E. Feinberg, a playwright and script consultant who collaborated with Phil on his book, and who is currently developing his play, The Happy Worker for the screen, with Duwayne Dunham, David Lynch and Sam Elliott.
The free event is presented by the South Pasadena Public Library, the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library, and Ms. Music Productions on the beautiful, historic “Carnegie Stage” at 1115 El Centro Street. No tickets or reservations are necessary and seating is limited. Refreshments will be served.
