        Join instructor Barbara Dempsey as she leads you in the art of Hula (@ Memorial Park, Sierra Madre).
      • 1:00 pm: Movie Matinees at Pasadena Senior Center
        Stripes (1981, R) – Hard-luck cabbie John Winger–directionless after being fired from his job and dumped by his girlfriend–enlists in the U.S. Army with his close pal, Russell. After his barely satisfactory performance in basic training, the irreverent Winger emerges as the figurehead for a ragtag band of Army misfits (@ Pasadena Senior Center, Pasadena).
      • 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Pasadena Chinese Tea Brewing and Tasting: Gong Fu Style
        Participants will taste four Gong Fu style brewed teas, including leaves from the Ancient Tea Tree in the Yunnan Province in southwestern China (@ Jackie Robinson Community Center, Pasadena).
      • 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Altadena Neighborhood Farmers Market
        Find freshly prepared foods and hand crafted goods from over 30 vendors while delighting in live music and a community garden open house (@ Altadena Farmers Market in Loma Alta Park, Altadena).
      • 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Monrovia Friday Night Street Fair
        Enjoy the charm of Old Town Monrovia (@ Myrtle Avenue, Monrovia).
      • 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm: DBSA San Gabriel Valley Support Alliance
        San Gabriel Valley Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (@ DBSA San Gabriel Valley, Pasadena).
      • 8:00 pm: “The Last Five Years” Musical at Sierra Madre Playhouse
        Set against a backdrop of soaring melodies and heartfelt lyrics, this play delves into the highs and lows of love, dreams, and the passage of time (@ Sierra Madre Playhouse, Sierra Madre).
      • 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm: Caltech Tai Chi Club – Fridays

        This free Fun Run is open to children ages 3-13 (@ Kersting Court, Sierra Madre).
      • 8:30 am – 12:30 pm: Pasadena Farmers’ Market – Saturday
        Shop for fresh, nutritious, locally-grown fruits and vegetables (@ Victory Park, Pasadena).
      • 8:30 am – 1:30 pm: San Gabriel Farmers Market
        Support local farmers and artisans while enjoying the lively atmosphere filled with culinary delights and quality products (@ San Gabriel Park and Ride Lot, San Gabriel).
      • 8:30 am – 12:00 pm: The Remnants Ride – Retracing the Forgotten Cycleway from Pasadena to LA
        Bike the length of the old Cycleway, stopping at important locations to learn its history (See event description for location).
      • 9:00 am – 3:15 pm: Huntington Health Blood Drive at Altadena Library
        All donors receive a $10 gift card (@ Altadena Main Library, Altadena).
      • 11:00 am – 4:00 pm: Glee + Friends AAPI Market
        In celebration of AAPI month, glee + co is hosting a pop-up market (@ One Colorado Courtyard, Pasadena).

      • 3:00 pm: Kwentuhang Pambata – A Bilingual Storytime at Lamanda Park Library
        Enjoy Tagalog/English children’s stories, fingerplays, songs, and craft (@ Lamanda Park Branch Library, Pasadena).
      • 8:00 pm: The Body’s Midnight at Boston Court Pasadena
        IAMA Theatre Company and Boston Court Pasadena have joined forces to present a poetic and surprising new play about the complicated, ridiculous, awe-inspiring trajectory of life (@ Boston Court Pasadena, Pasadena).

        The ride will be approximately 4-5 miles and will be flat, with no hills (@ Memorial Park, Pasadena).

      • 10:30 am – 1:30 pm: Pasadena Memorial Day Commemoration
        The City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Veterans Day Committee will honor the sacrifice of our fallen heroes at the Pasadena Memorial Day Commemoration (@ Memorial Park, Pasadena).
      • 11:00 am: Forest Lawn Memorial Day Celebration
