      • 11:00 am – 12:30 pm: Villa Parke Youth Soccer Inauguration Parade
        Over 70 teams of players ages 2-18 will participate in a season-opening parade (@ Villa Parke, Pasadena).

      • 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Itajime Shibori Dyeing Workshop with Tracy Nakayama
        The 2-hour workshop covers the technique of Itajime shibori, the art of indigo dyeing, and how to care for your finished textile (@ Armory Center For the Arts, Pasadena).
      • 3:00 pm: Family Blues Music Afternoon
        Brother Yusef, a master solo guitarist, will take you on a musical journey through the heart of blues (@ Linda Vista Branch Library, Pasadena).
