PUSD extends congratulations and welcomes elected students to its new Student Assembly and Council.
New council and assembly members will be sworn into office at the Board of Education Meeting on March 28, 2024. PUSD’s Student Think Tank, which formed in 2020, created the structure and administered student elections.
PUSD Student Council & Assembly 2023-24 and 2024-25 Council
- Juniors: Matthew (Mateo) Paz (PHS); Emilio Alban (Blair); Kaitlan Sakuma (Marshall)
- Sophomores: Jack (JP) Ramirez (PHS); Lesley Chee (Blair); Terra Bondsmith (Muir)
Assembly
- Lucas Kittle (PHS, 9); Jade Farrise (PHS, 12); Mphatso Johnson (Muir, 12)
The six PUSD Student Council Members will take turns attending PUSD Board meetings and participating throughout the meeting. They will represent the student voice on district matters. It is not known yet when a student will participate at the first PUSD Board meeting.
