Tina Fredericks Launches Re-Election Campaign

On Sunday, March 24, PUSD Board Trustee Tina Fredericks held a campaign kickoff event for her re-election campaign for District 6.

District 6 is based in northeast Pasadena and covers Hastings Ranch, Sierra Madre, and East San Gabriel. Fredericks was elected in 2020.

Fredericks said:

I am deeply humbled to be the first Board member to receive an early endorsement from Pasadena Unified School District teachers, and I am thankful for all of the elected leaders who recognize my dedication to public education. I will honor their trust in me by continuing to fight for investment in the classroom so that our students get the resources they need for success in college and career.”

Fredericks earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from University of California, San Diego. She serves as Pasadena Unified School District Board Clerk, Pasadena Unified School District Chair of the Facilities and Capital Projects Committee, and member of the 5-Star Education Coalition, composed of board members and superintendents from the Burbank, Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge, Pasadena, and South Pasadena school districts.

Fredericks and her husband Alec are parents to two daughters.

Lisa Kroese has also declared her candidacy for Pasadena Unified School Board of Education, District 6. back in February 7, 2024.
