The Rotary Club of Pasadena is now accepting applications for its $31,000 Global Grant Scholarship, designed for graduate students planning to study abroad.
By News Desk
Made possible through contributions from Rotary International, Rotary District 5300, and the Pasadena Rotary Club, the scholarship aims to support students who are committed to making a positive impact in the world.
Graduate students interested in applying must pursue studies in one of Rotary’s seven key areas of focus: peacebuilding and conflict prevention, disease prevention and treatment, water, sanitation and hygiene, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, community economic development, and environmental sustainability.
“Rotary has long been committed to supporting education, and a scholarship of this magnitude can truly change a student’s life,” said Fred Findley, Co-Chair of the Pasadena Rotary Global Grant Scholarship Committee. “This is an incredible opportunity to set students on a path toward making a real difference in the world while also building meaningful global relationships.”
The scholarship committee will evaluate each applicant based on several criteria, including demonstrated leadership skills, a strong academic or vocational record, a history of community service, and clear career goals. Applicants must also show how their objectives align with Rotary International’s mission and areas of focus.
Applications for the Global Grant Scholarship are due by December 31, 2025. Interested students can find more information and submit their applications through the Pasadena Rotary Club’s website.
