Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve all rolled up in one holiday, as the Lunar New Year, the biggest holiday in the Chinese culture, is celebrated today.
A large-scale Lunar New Year celebration in Southern California begins with a three-week art exhibit at the Alhambra City Hall .
A one-day street festival takes place on Valley Blvd. , the heart of the Chinese commercial district in the San Gabriel Valley. The festival will be on Saturday, February 21.
More than 25,000 will converge on the street to celebrate the Year of the Sheep.
