Ring in the Year of the Fire Horse With a Roar at Pasadena Senior Center

Fasten your seatbelts, and make your reservations, for the energetic kickoff to the Year of the Fire Horse at the Pasadena Senior Center on March 5 at 2:00 pm.

In the Chinese zodiac, each year is associated with both an animal and an element. The year 2026 ushers in the Year of the Fire Horse, an energetic sign symbolizing strength, swiftness, and freedom.

The Pasadena Senior Center will mark the occasion with a traditional Lion Dance and dynamic martial arts demonstrations led by Master Ken Hui of the Northern Shaolin Kung Fu Association. Guests are invited to come together and celebrate the Lunar New Year at what promises to be a vibrant and festive event.

This special Cultural Thursday program is free for members and $5 for nonmembers. Friends and family are welcome.
