After a devastating wildfire that shook the community to its core, Altadena is slowly beginning to recover. A hopeful sign of that recovery comes from two beloved local businesses reopening their doors.

Two local businesses, Full Circle Thrift and Fair Oaks Burger, are making their return, bringing renewed energy to a community still healing from the recent Eaton Fire.
Full Circle Thrift
Full Circle Thrift, a longtime neighborhood staple, is officially reopening its doors. In a heartfelt message to the community, the store shared, “We are beyond excited to begin this new chapter with you… It truly feels surreal.”
Now back in its original location, Full Circle Thrift will begin accepting donation drop-offs starting Tuesday, June 3, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Accepted items include adult clothing, housewares, jewelry, accessories, and collectibles. Donations can be left in the store’s parking lot, though space is limited due to ongoing construction. (Note: books will not be accepted at this time.)
Fair Oaks Burger
Meanwhile, Fair Oaks Burger is preparing for a festive grand reopening celebration on Saturday, June 14, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The event promises fun for all ages, with support from L.A. County Parks & Recreation and Juicy Little Finds, who will provide games and family-friendly activities.
The Altadena Library Van will be on-site, along with local rescue groups, Pasadena Humane Society, Hand In Paw, and The Love Of Animals, who will host dog adoption events for pets displaced by the fires.
Guests can enjoy free ice cream, sliders from F.O.B., and fresh produce from Food For Health.
“We are so grateful for our sponsors, and we are so happy to be reopening to feed our community,” Fair Oaks Burger shared in a statement.
After months of uncertainty and recovery, Altadena’s spirit is once again shining through, resilient, generous, and full of heart.

Community waits with open hearts!
