South Pasadena residents are advised that City Hall and most City services will operate on limited or modified schedules between December 22, 2025, and January 4, 2026.

Specific closures and exemptions are noted below:
City Hall, located at 1414 Mission St., will be open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm from December 22 through December 24, and closed from December 25 through January 4.
The South Pasadena Public Library at 1100 Oxley St. will follow a varied schedule during the holiday period. The library will be open December 22 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.; December 23 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.; and December 24 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be closed December 25–26, reopen December 27 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and operate December 28 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The library will then close December 29 through January 1, reopen January 2–3 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and be open January 4 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The Senior Center, located at 1102 Oxley St., will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from December 22 through December 24 and closed from December 25 through January 4.
The Recreation Office at 815 Mission St. will be open December 22–23 from 10:00 am. to 6:00 pm, December 24 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and closed from December 25 through January 4.
Normal operations will resume for the Public Library on Friday, January 2. City Hall, the Senior Center, and the Recreation Office will reopen to the public on Monday, January 5. Police and Fire services will remain fully operational throughout the holiday period, and the Public Works Department will have limited staff on standby for emergencies.
In addition, the City will exempt overnight parking regulations from December 22, 2025, at 2:00 am through January 4, 2026, at 6:00 am.
