February 2026 marks 100 years of national commemorations of Black history in the U.S. To celebrate Black History Month, Blossom Market Hall presents “IMPACT: A Visual Arts Exhibit” featuring multi-media artist Aziz Diagne from Feb 1st – 28th.

The Senegalese-born Angeleno has deep roots in the historic Leimert Park district. Diagne is the founder of Aziz Gallery in Leimert Park VIllage. The gallery offers classes, mentoring, and a space that showcases artworks by underrepresented and emerging artists.
This is the fourth Black History Month art exhibition sponsored by San Gabriel resident, Dr. Chasity Jennings-Nunez. The exhibition is dedicated to her father, artist and musician, Rev. James Jennings.
Exhibit is featured on the second floor of the historic San Gabriel food hall.
