A beautiful night for a good cause.
A concert to commemorate the future Armenian Genocide Memorial, a public space of reflection and remembrance for the victims of the Armenian Genocide, took place on the grounds of Memorial Park as part of the Levitt Pavilion Summer Music Series.
Representatives from the Pasadena Armenian Genocide Memorial Committee, along with Levitt Pavilion board members and staff, addressed the audience about the memorial. A tent was set up on the side that served as an information booth and a place for donations.
Echocell band played to a large crowd that decided to attend despite a major traffic jam that prevented many from showing up on time.
The unveiling of the memorial will be held in April at Memorial Park.
