      Dive into our region’s deep layers of culture this weekend from Masters Old and New at one of the many museums featuring free days, to the original singer-songwriter/modern dance combination at Lineage Performing Arts Center, to the African-American foodways cooking up at Linda Vista Library, or the local artists filling up South Pasadena’s downtown at the Winter Arts Crawl on Saturday night.

      Friday, February 6, 2026

      8:15 am – 9:45 am: Friday Coffee Meetup brings together Pasadena’s innovation and startup community on the first Friday every month. This month’s speaker Jason Melillo, founder/CEO of KBKG, tax consulting & tech firm. (@FoundrSpace, Pasadena)

      10:00 am – 11:00 am: Sierra Madre Senior Hawaiian & Polynesian Dance Class. Join instructor Barbara Dempsey as she leads you in the art of Hula. Bring a lei, flower skirt, or just your desire to dance. (@Memorial Park, Sierra Madre)

      4:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Free Admission at The Norton Simon Museum. On the first Friday evening of the month, all visitors receive free admission to the museum’s galleries and beautiful garden. (@Norton Simon Museum, Pasadena)

      4:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Thrive Food Bank Free Farmer’s Market. Volunteer organization offers fresh locally sourced fruits and vegetables to food insecure populations. All welcome. (@Iglesia de Nazareth, Pasadena)

      4:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Kidspace Free First Fridays. Kidspace Children’s Museum opens their doors for free once a month. Reserve your ticket at this link. (@Kidspace Children’s Museum, Pasadena)

      5:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Monrovia Street Fair and Market takes place every Friday evening in Old Town Monrovia! (@500 Block of Myrtle Ave. between Lemon Avenue and Colorado Boulevard)

      6:00 pm – 8:00 pm: San Marino Family Valentine’s Day Dance Party. Enjoy music, games, and dancing for all ages, plus sweet treats, face painting & cookie decorating. See event link for ticket information. (@San Marino Community Center, San Marino)

      6:30 pm – 8:00 pm: “ICE Out of Alhambra” Event. Weekly event taking place every Friday. (@the corner of Main Street and Garfield Avenue, Alhambra)

      7:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Caltech Tai Chi Club. Learn and practice Hao-style tai chi chuan. Additional practice includes Yang-style tai chi, kung fu, and other bare-hand and weapon forms. Free event. (@Hameetman Center, Caltech, Pasadena)

      8:00 am – 10:00 am: Altadena Cars and Coffee. Cruise into the parking lot of Gelato and enjoy a morning of community around classic autos. (@Bulgarini Gelato, 749 East Altadena Drive, Altadena)

      8:00 am: Year Two of Altadena to the Palisades: An Ultra-Marathon Relay. Event begins at Good Neighbor Bar, Altadena. Course for runners and cyclists weaves through the city of L.A. and ends at Will Rogers Beach in Pacific Palisades. (@Good Neighbor Bar, Altadena)

      9:00 am – 11:00 am: North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit Project Informational Meeting. The sessions are designed to give community members a detailed look at the project’s Pasadena segment and offer a forum to share feedback directly with project staff. (@Pasadena Senior Center, Pasadena)
