        PCC Selected for 2016 NASA Competition

      Pasadena City College (Photo -Pasadena City College (PCC) has been selected to participate in a 2016 NASA competition.

      Swarmathon is a NASA competition to develop cooperative robotics to revolutionize space exploration.

      The First Annual Swarmathon will take place at NASA Kennedy Space Center on April 18-22, 2016. Students from Minority Serving Universities and Community Colleges will be challenged to develop search algorithms for robotic swarms, a technology that promises a more effective and efficient locate, and will help collect resources on the Moon or Mars.

      Pasadena City CollegePCC was selected as one of12 teams representing 14 schools to compete in the Swarmathon’s Physical Competition. 23 additional teams were chosen for the Virtual Competition.
