Tomislav Maretić, who lives in Zagreb, Croatia, is an infectologist at the HIV Ward of the University Hospital for Infectious Diseases. He lives in the little hillside village Vrapce with wife Ana, four children and a tomcat. He has been writing and publishing haiku and tanka internationally for 30 years.
