The Order requires the closure of additional indoor operations for certain sectors which promote the mixing of populations beyond households and make adherence to physical distancing with face coverings difficult.

The following industries or activities must cease, unless they are modified to operate outside or by pick-up:
- Fitness centers.
- Worship services.
- Protests.
- Offices for non-essential sectors.
- Personal care services, such as nail salons, body waxing and tattoo parlors.
- Hair salons and barbershops.
- Malls.
Bars, indoor dining at restaurants, indoor museums, indoor operations at zoos and aquariums, and cardrooms and satellite wagering facilities remain closed, and all events and gatherings are prohibited unless specifically allowed by the Order.
This Order applies to all persons within the City of Pasadena under the Health Officer’s jurisdiction. Violation of this Order is a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment, fine or both.
This Order is in effect as of 12:01 AM July 14, 2020 until rescinded in writing by the Health Officer. You can read the Order in its entirety here.
