The Pasadena Police Department (PPD) invites the community to the annual Walk for Life on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in recognition of Suicide Prevention Month.

The event will take place at Rose Bowl Stadium, Lot H, located at 1001 Rose Bowl Dr., beginning at 5:00 pm, with the walk starting promptly at 5:45 pm.
This free community event is a joint effort led by the PPD’s H.O.P.E. (Homeless Outreach Psychiatric Evaluation) Team, the PPD Wellness Unit, and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Their mission: to support those impacted by suicide and amplify the message that suicide is preventable and no one is alone.
Now a growing annual tradition, Walk for Life will feature:
- A 5K walk/run around the Rose Bowl Loop
- A resource fair with more than 25 participating vendors
- Inspirational remarks from local dignitaries
Participants are encouraged to join in solidarity, whether they are grieving a loss, supporting a loved one, or advocating for greater mental health awareness.
