The Pink Patch Project is an innovative public awareness campaign that aims to draw attention to the ongoing battle against breast cancer and provide crucial support to breast cancer research organizations in their efforts to combat this devastating disease. Tuesday’s event was an exercise in camaraderie, physical fitness, and friendly competition to bring attention to a healthy lifestyle. FitSport Kinetics staff guided participants through a series of intense strength and cardio workouts that made the toughest participants break out into a sweat.
This month Pasadena’s finest will combine their efforts to raise funds for cancer research through the sale of t-shirts, pens, pins, and patches. Pink Patch supporters can purchase their swag at any number of Pink Patch events sponsored by the Pasadena Police and Fire Departments throughout the month of October.
The next opportunity to contribute or obtain merchandise will be at National Coffee with a Cop Day at Target located at 3121 E Colorado Blvd on Wednesday, October 3, 2024, 8:30 am to 10:30 am. All proceeds from sales go to benefit City of Hope.
