The Pasadena Police Department said it is closely monitoring the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and coordinating with federal, state, and regional law enforcement partners to assess any potential impacts locally.

Authorities said that while some news outlets have reported possible threats to California, those reports have not been verified by law enforcement partners. Despite the lack of confirmed threats, the department has taken precautionary steps to enhance public safety.
Police said patrols have been increased around places of worship and other high-profile locations throughout Pasadena as part of a proactive effort to protect the community.
The department is urging residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activity in neighborhoods, shopping centers, religious institutions, or on social media platforms. Officials emphasized the importance of community awareness, repeating the public safety message: “If you see something, say something.”
