The City of Pasadena is inviting residents to attend the next Community Engagement Workshop for the Reconnecting Pasadena Project, taking place on Saturday, September 13 from 10 am to 1:00 pm at Friendship Pasadena Church, located at 80 W. Dayton St.
By News Desk
The workshop marks a key milestone in the city’s 710 Master Plan, as the project enters its third and final phase, known as the Document and Refine stage. This phase builds on extensive community input collected throughout the planning process and aims to evaluate the feasibility of design concepts for the 710 Stub area.
Attendees will hear a presentation of the latest project design options and participate in a moderated panel discussion featuring the project team and subject matter experts. The panel will provide updates on land use and circulation concepts, as well as ongoing discussions about potential restorative justice elements related to the project.
Residents will also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the panel and project team during a moderated Q&A session.
Key technical topics to be explored in this phase include traffic solutions, land use planning, density considerations, and funding for public amenities. The input gathered during this stage will help shape final recommendations that are both practical and aligned with community priorities.
The City encourages all residents to participate in this important dialogue as the project moves toward final recommendations for the long-impacted 710 corridor.
RSVPs are requested but not required. For more details and to RSVP, visit the project StoryMap. Questions or comments can be directed to Senior Project Manager Wendy Macias at wmacias@cityofpasadena.net.
