Get ready to step closer than ever before to the floats that make the Rose Parade one of the most iconic events in the country!

      By Melanie Hooks

Floatfest: A Rose Parade Festival is set to showcase a one-mile stretch of Rose Parade floats from January 1 to 3, 2026, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to admire the intricate designs, vibrant colors, and creative artistry up close. The event follows the floats’ appearance along the parade route and offers an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Each year, approximately 70,000 visitors flock to Pasadena’s Sierra Madre and Washington Boulevards to witness these magnificent floral creations in an intimate, walk-through environment. This year’s event promises even more: live entertainment, gourmet food trucks, the Rose Petal Bar, and family-friendly activities, creating a lively, celebratory atmosphere. Participating float exhibitors will be on hand to engage with attendees, giving them a deeper insight into the artistry and craftsmanship that go into creating these awe-inspiring floats.

For those looking to grab a bite, a Food Fare will be available, offering delicious options for purchase to fuel visitors as they explore the festival. With limited street parking near the event site, the Tournament of Roses Association is offering free shuttle service from two convenient locations in Pasadena, ensuring easy access for all guests. Shuttle riders will enjoy the perk of entering the event through a priority line.
