At his 30th high school reunion, Pablo begins to question what has happened to his once racially integrated public high school in Pasadena, CA. As he contemplates whether to send his own son there, Pablo embarks on a journey through the complex layers of race, class, and education policy. The film reveals how shifts in perception and systemic policy decisions have created formidable obstacles to maintaining well-funded, inclusive, and equitable public schools.
