Artist Susan Dobay is an individualist who feels for the world, for her fellow humans, and the arts. She questions everything, including herself.
By Kathabela Wilson
Hers was the first interview in our series “Mapping the Artist”. It was sparse and to the point. Now she has embarked on a new adventure, preparing a book of her half century artwork and her quest for meaning. She shares with us here her new project and the questions she asks herself and all of us. Susan’s art has been a focus for several books and performances by ‘Poets on Site’, some already enacted and some forthcoming.
Thank you Susan for you amazing art, and all the inspiration you are giving all of us. Not only to be creative, but to ask questions of ourselves, and life itself.
I asked her the question:
What “One More Thing” would you like to add to your interview?
She chose to share her amazing new project with us:
