As part of its year-long celebration marking 65 years of service to the community, the Pasadena Senior Center is hosting a lively “Music Through the Decades” Summer Concert Series this August, offering free live music, dancing, and nostalgia for all ages.

Held every Tuesday evening throughout August and culminating on Labor Day, the concert series will take place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Pasadena Senior Center. Each week will spotlight a different era of American popular music, from the swing of the 1930s to the dance hits of the 1980s.
The concert series is free and open to the public, and promises a festive atmosphere perfect for dancing, reminiscing, and celebrating together as a community. Reservations are recommended and can be made by visiting the Pasadena Senior Center’s website.
Summer Concert Lineup
The Summer Concert Series features:
- August 12: Michael Haggins Band – 1980s Dance Party
- August 19: The Silverados – A Salute to Woodstock and the Vietnam War Era
- August 26: Atomic Roots Orchestra – The Early Days of Rock & Roll
- September 1 (Labor Day): The Great American Swing Band – Music of the 1930s and 1940s
This musical celebration is just one of many events the Pasadena Senior Center is hosting this year to commemorate over six decades of enriching the lives of older adults and the greater Pasadena community.
