On July 16, 2024, at approximately 9:36 pm, the Monterey Park Police Department began a Missing Person investigation into the whereabouts of 15-year-old Alison Jillian Chao.

Family members describe her as an Asian female, approximately 5’2”, weighing approximately 96 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
Alison was last seen leaving her residence on July 16, 2024, at approximately 5:32 pm in the 200 block of North Ynez Avenue in the City of Monterey Park, Calif.
Alison left her residence wearing a purple T-shirt, black shorts, and dark shoes. She was riding on a blue mountain bike carrying a black backpack. She was en route to a family member’s residence in the City of San Gabriel. Alison reportedly never arrived at the residence.
The Monterey Park Police Department Investigations Bureau is investigating the incident. If anyone has information, please contact the Department at 626-573-1311.
