I love herbs for many reasons. They are pretty to look at, smell divine and make every food/drink more delicious and nutritious. Let’s take a closer look at mint.

Mint has a strong fragrance that most people enjoy. It is used widely in Mediterranean cooking and gives that food its distinctly fresh flavor.
To make a beverage, gather some dried or fresh mint leaves. Steep in boiling water for 3-5 minutes, sweeten with a little honey and you have a delicious and healthy herbal tea. Mint calms the digestive tract, helps with mucus relief and is a powerful antioxidant. As a classical singer I especially appreciate mint tea, for it helps with congestion during the cold season, and can relieve mild headache symptoms. And mint is a great natural mouth freshener!
