Pasadena’s own Norton Simon Museum is lifting up art as a natural part of Valentine’s week.

Included with the price of Thursday’s admission comes an optional hour-long “Mindful Look” at their iconic 18th century painting Happy Lovers, c. 1751-55 by Jean–Honoré Fragonard.
Museum Education and Public Programs Manager Samantha Cruz leads a small group (15 person max.) in a closer look at the work from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Sign up happens at museum opening (12:00 pm) on a first-come, first-served basis.
After all, a central component of romance has long been portraiture and idyllic scenes like the one depicted. Buy your tickets onsite or ahead of time at the Norton Simon website.
