The PMCA teams up with The Haiku Guys + Gals to provide improvised haiku for guests on their typewriters.

It will all take place at the Pasadena Central Library’s NEA Big Read celebration of “When The Emperor Was Divine by Julie Otsuka.” This day-long event features traditional Japanese art activities for the whole family.

Partners include Norton Simon Museum, USC Pacific Asia Museum, Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden, and Pasadena Museum of History.

NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership of Arts Midwest.
