Pasadena Transit and Metro invite you to take action to help fight climate change and improve the environment by riding for free on Earth Day, Monday, April 22.

Pasadena Transit vehicles are fueled with renewable natural gas, which is converted organic materials. A great way to contribute to cutting greenhouse gas emissions is to use the bus! For trip planning, visit PasadenaTransit.net.
Bus and Train
All Metro bus routes and rail lines will be free to the public from 3:00 am Monday, April 22, to 2:59 am Tuesday, April 23. Bus fareboxes will be covered, and all train station fare gates will be opened. County residents and visitors alike can easily use free public transit.
Bike
You can redeem a free 30-minute bike share ride by selecting 1-Ride at any Metro Bike Share kiosk, online or in the Metro Bike Share app. Customers should enter promo code 042223 to redeem their free ride. This code can be redeemed many times throughout the day. The first 30 minutes of all bike rides are free. Electric Metro Bike unlocking fees are waived.
Metro Micro
Customers can redeem free rides on Metro Micro, Metro’s on-demand rideshare service, by using the Metro Micro app or browser and entering code earthday24. The promo code will be available from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm at Metro’s Call Center (323-GoMetro or 323-466-3876). (The code is valid only on Earth Day.)
Metrolink
For Metrolink, to ride free on Earth Day, simply hop on the train. No ticket required.
