Blair High School proudly announced Finn Moision as the valedictorian of the Class of 2025, recognizing his exceptional academic achievements and leadership throughout his high school career.

Finn’s accomplishments are truly remarkable. He graduated as an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Candidate and an AP Scholar with Honor, boasting a weighted GPA of 4.6. His dedication and excellence earned him Blair’s prestigious 2025 #1 IB Student of the Year Award, voted on by his teachers, who praised his positive attitude and strong work ethic in the demanding IB Diploma Program.
In addition to his academic honors, Finn excelled in mathematics, receiving the Mathematics Award for top student in mathematical excellence. His math teachers highlighted his determination, curiosity, and passion for the subject. He also earned recognition for Musical Excellence in IB Music, showcasing his diverse talents.
Finn’s commitment extended beyond academics. He received the Carson Scholarship/John Wooden Wisdom for Life Award, honoring his academic success alongside his participation in ice hockey throughout high school. As a National Honor Society Gold Seal Bearer, Finn demonstrated leadership and service by founding Blair’s Engineering Club and playing key roles in the Advanced Band and Hockey Club. He also contributed to Pasadena Special Needs Hockey and earned an Award of Distinction from the Pasadena Educational Foundation for his work as an assistant teacher in their summer program.
Looking ahead, Finn will attend the University of California, Santa Barbara this fall to study electrical engineering.
