On Saturday, January 10, the Sierra Madre community will come together to honor the bravery, resilience, and unwavering collaboration displayed during the Eaton Fire at a special commemoration event hosted by the newly re-established Sierra Madre Fire Safe Council.
This gathering will bring together neighbors, first responders, and community members to reflect on the heroic efforts that protected lives and property during the devastating fire. It will also serve as an opportunity to express gratitude for the resilience shown by residents and emergency personnel alike.
Special guests will speak, sharing their experiences from the fire, and light refreshments, including coffee and treats, will be provided. The event promises to be a meaningful morning of connection, reflection, and appreciation for all who supported the community during this time of crisis.
The Eaton Fire Commemoration is open to all members of the Sierra Madre community, with a particular focus on those who played a pivotal role in the fire’s aftermath.
