Sierra Madre’s Independence Day celebration kicks off a day early in Memorial Park.

The community joins together for a pre-parade picnic, dancing to music, and kids zone with confetti eggs and bubble wrap fireworks.
Thursday, July 4, 2019
Day two of the celebration kicks off with the Fourth of July Committee Fun Run 5k for the whole family immediately followed by the annual 4th of July Parade. The parade has been an annual tradition for over 40 years. Residents prop their chairs along Sierra Madre Boulevard, enjoying the small town charm of the parade.
Afterwards, the fun continues at Sierra Vista Park, where people enjoy a festive band, free admission to the pool, games and food!
