Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition is hosting a bike ride every month in 2023.
In order to beat the heat, we have returned to night rides. Join as we explore iconic locations and undiscovered neighborhoods in Pasadena under the stars. The ride will be 9.2 miles with 422 feet of elevation gain, including a couple of steep bits (it’s fine to walk your bike for those parts) and a trip across the Colorado Street Bridge.
You must sign a waiver when you arrive. Helmets are required by state law for anyone under 18. No training wheels are permitted. Children riding on their own should remain with parents at all times, have experience riding with a group, and be able to average 12 mph. Younger children and/or pets are welcome so long as they are riding safely in a trailer, on a family cargo bike, etc.
Inclement weather cancels. We will email early Saturday morning if weather will affect the ride – keep an eye out. Ensure that your bike is in good working condition. Recommended items to bring: bike lights, water, a spare tube, tire levers, bike multi-tool, and pump. Helmets are encouraged and required for riders under 18. A limited number of bike lights are available for loan.
