Dirt Compost (Photo – normanack).
A free compost giveaway event for residents of Monterey Park will be held on Saturday, January 17, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Garvey Ranch Park’s west entrance near 751 S. Alhambra Ave., Monterey Park, CA 91755.
Bagged compost will be available at a first come, first serve basis. First hour is limited to two bags/customer. Loose material will be available for self-service.
For customers with roll out service, compost delivery to your residence can be arranged by calling 626-225-2400. For additional information regarding this event please contact Ware Disposal at 626-225-2400 or the Public Works department at 626-307-1320 or visit the Monterey Park City event website.
