      tenants protest

Families living at 403 Figueroa Dr. in Altadena

Tenants of a residential property on Figueroa Drive in Altadena are organizing a community gathering this Thursday at 6:00 pm to demand safer living conditions and draw attention to ongoing concerns about their homes.

Families living at 403 Figueroa Dr., including elders and young children, say they have been enduring unsafe conditions and feel their concerns have gone unaddressed by their landlord. According to residents, the situation has become increasingly urgent following the Eaton Fire, which raised fears about possible toxic contamination affecting their homes.

The planned gathering aims to bring together neighbors and supporters in solidarity, highlighting the need for healthy and secure housing. Organizers emphasize that all residents deserve to live in environments that are safe and free from potential hazards.

Community members are encouraged to attend and show support as tenants continue to call for accountability and necessary improvements to their living conditions.
