A coalition of community members and advocacy groups will gather in Pasadena on Saturday, January 10, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. for a rally titled “ICE Out For Good – Pasadena, CA and Surrounding Foothill Communities.”
The demonstration will take place at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, across from The Paseo mall at 281 E. Colorado Blvd.
The rally follows the killing of an American citizen by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Wednesday, January 7. Organizers describe the death as part of a broader pattern of violence, abuse, and impunity by federal immigration enforcement agencies.
The Pasadena event is part of a coordinated national “ICE Out For Good Weekend of Action,” scheduled for Saturday, January 10, and Sunday, January 11, with actions planned across the country. According to organizers, the weekend aims to demand accountability, honor the life lost, and draw attention to what they describe as the human cost of ICE’s actions.
