Come to the outdoor native garden at the Altadena Library to taste some samples and learn about new plants.

Joe Parker and Krystal Rains are happy to present a follow-up workshop to their February 2022 presentation, “Edible California Natives for the Garden.” They will give an overview of California Native Plants that provide food and other uses while being adapted to our inland or coastal heat and arid conditions. They hope to inspire you to bring California Native Plants to your own yard and garden spaces and to produce your own dishes that the land provides with little water and much love.

Native plant gardening and cooking resources will also be provided.
