Join in the “One City, One Story” festivities around Monrovia, launching at Monrovia Library Park on Saturday, January 24, 2026, 1:00 – 3:00 pm with crafts & activities, demonstrations, raffle prizes, and even a kids’ book giveaway while supplies last.

This year’s book is The Bear by Andrew Krivak, a quiet, powerful story about legacy, survival, and our relationship with the natural world.
Monrovia’s “One City, One Story” is a citywide reading and community-engagement project that invites residents of all ages to share a common book and connect through conversations, creative programs, and nature-focused events.
Next up: join the Novel T’s Book Club to discuss The Bear on Monday, January 26, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at Monrovia Public Library, 321 South Myrtle Ave, Monrovia (Zoom available).
