Bring your little pumpkin out to celebrate a Very Happy Halloween already underway at Kidspace Children’s Museum this spooky season.
By News Desk
Join the rollicking costume parade, decorate the perfect jack ’o lantern to take home, and meet some unspooky snakes up close in a day filled with monstrously fun family memories. The festivities begin on September 28th and continue through October.
“Halloween is our favorite season,” said Lisa Clements CEO of Kidspace. “It’s too much fun to squeeze into just one month, so this year we’re kicking it off a few days early to make room for extra thrills, costumes, pumpkins, and magic.”
The entire family is invited to join our daily Halloween costume parades, where the littlest witches and wizards strut their stuff. Fall under the spell of our weekend magic shows, where the tricks are the treats. Craft new fantastical accessories in our Costume Shoppe, learn some magical, mind-blowing facts about snakes, and dip your toes into the sparkling blue sand of Mermaid Lagoon. Don’t forget to select and decorate a playful pumpkin to take home with you!
Kidspace Member families get an extra special treat with an exclusive nighttime event on October 13th. At Owl O Ween they’ll meet our nocturnal neighbors up close, enjoy art and music at the museum after dark, and perhaps even purchase an actual owl pellet to dissect at home. To become a member, or to give a gift membership to an owl-loving friend, visit kidspacemuseum.org/join.
Kidspace Halloween is included with general admission. Daily costume parades happen on weekdays at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. with an extra parade scheduled on weekends at 1 p.m. (check the Kidspace website; parade times are subject to change). Pumpkin decorating tickets are available for $4 each and can be purchased online with a ticket reservation. For more information and to reserve your tickets, visit kidspace.org.
