Just in time for Earth Week and month, the Princeton Review “graded” over 800 schools on their environmental friendliness, and Caltech was one of only a handful to earn the highest possible score of 99.
With its green infrastructure and environmentally focused academic opportunities, the Princeton Review report called Caltech “a giant in sustainability.”
A write-up on the review’s website noted the pioneering use of:
- Self-managed green revolving funds
- Energy-efficiency projects
- Contributions to cleaner air
Those were highlights of the Institute’s devotion to the green movement, according to the review.
