Pasadena’s Blair High School announced that several of its 2023 graduates have earned the prestigious IB Diploma and IB Career Program Certificate.

The Blair students’ awards were announced after their IB Exam scores were reviewed by the official IB organization to determine that the students qualified. The International Baccalaureate (IB) program, in over 5,000 schools worldwide, builds students’ inquiring mindset, fosters their desire to learn, and prepares them to excel at their careers and to lead meaningful lives.
Students earning the IB Diploma at Blair High School: Ananya Bhargava, Lucine Ekizian, Katherine Higginbotham, Hadrian Huidor, Samuel Igler, Katlyn Ong, Ellie Sahand, Lillian Sanfilippo, Joseph Sitzman, Rereloluwa Ogunleye, Leah Wallace, and Daron Yacoubian.
Students earning the IB Career Program Certificate: Kara Griffin, Tabitha Hermann, Tiffany Jasso, Anabella Nunez, and Ariel Phelps.
Blair Principal Amy McGinnis said:
These students demonstrate the tenacity, intelligence, curiosity, and diplomacy to help make our world a better place. The IB program is a very rigorous educational framework that prepares students for college and beyond. I am excited to see how these Vikings will positively impact the lives of others.”
