Celebrate all things bicycling this May when Bike Month Pasadena returns from a two-year hiatus!

Residents and visitors of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in a wide range of family-friendly events. Activities will highlight the many benefits of bicycling, one of the most affordable, sustainable, and healthy modes of transportation.
In 2024, the month-long celebration will feature guided bike tours exploring Pasadena’s public art, history, and iconic landmarks. All events are free, but advance registration is required, starting on May 1.
Events include a bike-in movie night, an e-bike expo, and much more. Organized by the City of Pasadena, Day One, and Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition, the calendar of events includes the following:
- Sunday May 5th
National Ride a Bike Day (discounts at participating local shops) - Wednesday May 8th
National Bike to School Day - Saturday May 11
Bike Tour of Pasadena African American History – The 710 Stub - Sunday May 12
Women of Pasadena Ride - Wednesday May 15
Pasadena Ride of Silence - Saturday May 18
Pasadena Public Art Ride - Sunday May 19
Pasadena E-Bike Expo - Wednesday May 22
Bike-In Movie: “The Engine Inside” - Saturday May 25
The Remnants Ride: Retracing the Forgotten Cycleway from Pasadena to Los Angeles - Sunday May 26
Pasadena Ice Cream Ride - Monday May 27
Family Safety Ride & Picnic
All events are free (and subject to change), but advance registration is required. Many events are expected to sell out of ‘free’ tickets, especially if they involve free ice cream! Online registration opens May 1st at this link.
