This contribution will provide assistance to help with immediate and future needs as the PUSD community recovers.
The Ballmers have dedicated $15 million in emergency relief funding to support wildfire recovery efforts across the region, providing critical aid to 14 funds and 12 organizations assisting displaced families, first responders, and communities in need.
Patrick Conyers, Executive Director of PEF, said:
The Eaton Fire has devastated our PUSD community—families and staff have lost their homes, belongings, and sense of stability. Thanks to the Ballmer Group’s extraordinary generosity, we can provide much-needed relief. This is just the beginning of what will be a long recovery, and PEF is committed to standing with our PUSD community every step of the way.”
PEF is a community-based organization whose board and staff are connected to Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre, and like so many, they are experiencing this crisis firsthand. The PEF Response Fund was established to provide relief, and they are working as quickly as possible to get assistance to those who need it most.
