Altadena residents will have the opportunity to meet and question their local Town Council candidates at the Altadena Town Council Candidate Forum, taking place Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
By News Desk
Hosted by Neighbors Building a Better Altadena (NBBA), the event comes at a pivotal moment for the community. After nearly a year of recovery and reflection following the Eaton Fire, residents are eager to discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead. The forum aims to give voters a closer look at the individuals seeking to represent their interests in the next council term.
During the event, all candidates will respond to two key questions:
- What’s the top issue facing Altadena, and how would you address it?
- How do you plan to reach out to and involve residents of your Census Tract?
The second half of the evening will feature 30-minute breakout sessions by Census Tract, giving residents the chance to engage in small-group conversations directly with the candidates running to represent their area.
The Altadena Town Council website offers a comprehensive resource for voters, including candidate statements, district maps, and complete election details, covering who can vote, where polling stations are located, and when ballots can be cast. Pre-registration for the election is strongly encouraged.
Residents can also watch candidate introductions from the Oct. 21, 2025, Altadena Town Council meeting on YouTube.
Election days are scheduled for November 1, 4, and 8, and community members are invited to volunteer at polling stations.
