ALDI’s opening date for its store in Altadena is pushed till April 6, 2017.
The Altadena store, located at 2246 North Lake Ave., was slated to open on March 25, but an email sent on Aldi’s behalf, announced the store’s delayed opening date to be Thursday, April 6. No explanation was given to the reason behind the opening’s delay. The store will still host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:25 a.m. on opening day. Immediately following the ceremony, the first 100 customers will receive a golden ticket, each containing ALDI gift cards of various amounts.
Customers will also have their first opportunity to sample exclusive brand products and enter sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce.

Customers at the Altadena store will notice a robust fresh produce selection, brighter colors, high ceilings, natural lighting with environmentally-friendly building materials – such as recycled materials, energy-saving refrigeration and LED lighting.
ALDI touts exclusive brand food products as free of added MSG, certified synthetic colors and partially hydrogenated oils. More than 90 percent of the products available at their stores are under ALDI exclusive brands.
The new Altadena store will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
ALDI is in the midst of an accelerated growth plan, and by the end of 2018, there will be nearly 2,000 ALDI stores from coast to coast.
