Mary Poppins Jr. ‘Flies’ Into Early 20th Century London.

Disney’s Mary Poppins JR. will be presented on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, January 23, 24, and 25, 2025, at 7:00 pm.  There will also be a 2:00 pm matinee on Saturday. The “practically perfect” 70-minute musical, designed for middle school performers, is based on the classic Walt Disney film. Alhambra’s All Souls World Language Catholic School cast and crew includes 70 students, TK through 8^th grade, led by parent acting, singing, costumes, props, set design coaches, and a professional director.

“We are pleased to present our fifth parent-led musical production with students who are so dedicated and disciplined in learning all about live theatre on and backstage!” said Lisa Vazquez, co-producer and parent of two students at All Souls.

Join the Banks family as they encounter adventure after fun-filled adventures with their curious new nanny, Mary Poppins. Adapted especially for young performers, this musical includes favorite songs such as “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “Feed the Birds,” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” as well as wonderful new songs. With colorful characters and an irresistible score, Mary Poppins JR. will surely be a crowd-pleaser for all ages!
