Anime Pasadena will take place at The Pasadena Convention Center on November 4th and 5th.

      By News Desk

This year, Anime Pasadena has expanded their two-day programming to include more activities, including over 350 vendors, over 45 celebrity guests, music, games, panels, and more.

Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite cosplay characters and will get the opportunity to participate in meet ups, as well as an adult cosplay contest at 6:00 pm on Saturday and a kid’s cosplay contest at 5:00 pm on Sunday.

Michael Ross, CEO of the Pasadena Center Operating Company, said:

Anime Pasadena has been such an incredible event for the Pasadena Convention Center and local businesses over the years. As 15,000 anime fans and cosplayers arrive in Pasadena for the two-day event, we’ve worked with the team to accommodate the expanded programming. It’ll be a delight to see dedicated and diverse fans paint the town in cosplay as they enjoy the charm of Pasadena’s walkable downtown areas and array of shopping and dining experiences.”

      What to expect

Scheduled panels will include the cast from global hit anime series and gaming products like One Piece, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Spy x Family, Hunter x Hunter, Sailor Moon, Naruto, Persona 5, Final Fantasy Kingdom Hearts, Genshin Impact, and more. Special guests will be on site for autographs, signings, photos, and more.

The two-day event will also include a “Dragon Hall Z” with a free arcade zone, free professional photo rooms, a maid café, Anime Fire giveaways, and a main stage. Additional activities include a gaming tournament, anime karaoke, a free scavenger hunt, and an artists’ alley.

The official Anime Pasadena after party will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center on Saturday, November 4 at 9:00 pm and will feature a variety of experiences, such as a bunny-girl lounge, photo areas, drinks, a free arcade zone, live music by Not A Phase, and more.
