“Ashes & Echoes: An Immersive Multimedia Exhibit on the Oral History of Eaton Fire Survivors,” presented by LA Fire Justice, transforms survivors’ oral histories into a living tapestry of home, resilience, and restoration.

      By Melanie Hooks

Featuring thoughtful interviews with survivors and many long-term residents of the Altadena and Pasadena area, the oral history project aims to honor their lived experience and collective strength. Installation Artist Gegham Sargsyan, Photographer and Curator Ara Oshagan, and Exhibit Director Hrag Yedalian created the exhibit and invite the public to its four day run from January 31 – Feb 3, 2026. Admission is free.

LA Fire Justice is a coalition of experienced wildfire lawyers, world-class fire origin and causation experts, insurance specialists, and community engagement leaders committed to seeking justice for victims of preventable wildfires. Led by CEO Chris Holden, attorney Doug Boxer, trial attorney Mikal Watts and consumer advocate Erin Brockovich, more information can be found at LAFireJustice.com.
