The Marshall Fundamental Secondary School Music Department, the Academy for Creative Industries (ACI), and the Marshall Dance Team sponsored by Marshall Learns present the Marshall Fundamental Annual Fall Music Festival.

The event is scheduled for Friday, October 4, 2019 at 4:30 pm, in the North Quad. Admission is free; Bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
Over 60% of the Marshall Fundamental students are actively involved in the Arts, and the students who participate and learn in these programs are involved in other areas of academics and activities. Principal, Dr. Mark Anderson said:
Many of our alumni are artists, scientists, athletes, writers, and leaders. The Arts is an integral part of our well-rounded and diverse school.
Lanisha Kelly, Assistant Principal and Academy for Creative Industries Administrator, stated:
Marshall Fundamental has ten full time teachers devoted to music, performance, and visual arts. Through their efforts ACI is able to serve over 300 high school students. It’s great seeing the collaborative efforts between our Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) team.
Program
The program will include musical performances by students of various levels from beginning to advanced bands, choirs, and orchestras. There will be featured performances by Marshall’s State Championship Marching Band, Chamber Choir, Women’s Choir, as well as, award-winning Jazz Band and Chamber Orchestra.
In addition to music and dancing, there will be visual art on display, food for sale by the music boosters and other clubs, as well as, the Scholastic Book Fair in the Marshall Library.
Additionally, the Girls’ Volleyball Team will be completing their final games of the season in the Marshall Sports Complex Gymnasium – Varsity at 3:15 p.m. and JV at 4:30 p.m.
