Zine Fest at The Armory

The Armory Zine Fest, a free festival for zine makers to showcase their works, connect with other creators, and share their love for zines, will be taking place on August 25, 2024 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena.

The festival plans to host 25 tabling zinesters, art workshops, zine-making, and more. Expect a zine filled event with free art-making activities.

This program is in conjunction with the From the Ground Up exhibition, exploring the following themes: our relationship to the land/Earth, alternative + traditional knowledges/technologies, environmental justice, colonization, history, storytelling, speculative futurism, world-building, care, cultivation, healing, and more. Though the Fest is connected to the exhibition, zines will not be limited to these themes.

Zinesters creating from Pasadena and the greater San Gabriel Valley are highly encouraged to apply. It is free to apply and table. To apply, click here.
